The Pasta de Waraku concept is an extension of Waraku idea of “Peace & Harmony”. Waraku in Japanese language means “Peace and Harmony”, aspiring to provide every customer with a gourmet experience with delectable pasta dishes, meticulous service and relaxing ambience; all at a reasonable price. Pasta de Waraku differentiates its concept by infusing authentic Japanese flavour into pasta dishes in a light-hearted and fun ambience.... Ichiban Sushi @ ARC
This is the Ichiban Sushi restaurant at ARC (Alexandra Retail Centre), part of PSA Bldg. Better to get seats nearer to Alexandra Rd so the external view won't give you a claustrophobic feel. The sashimi and sushi were good. Restaurant not very big but currently, not many people patronising the restaurant outside working hours i.e. public holidays and weekends. Service level is good, quick response to requests.Ichiban Sushi is a popular chain of Japanese restaurants here in Singapore. There is another chain called Ichiban Boshi which is a sister company and mostly serves the same food. There are items that are quite pricey but in general the food is good valued specially the chicken katsudon. Almost all of the Ichiban restaurants that I have seen always have a line be it lunch or dinner (though the one at the ARC has lighter queues in general due to its location) Ichiban Sushi ARC Mall, Pasir Panjang cor Alexandra Road, 2nd Floor
Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant at (Hotel Grand Pacific) 阿一鲍鱼富临酒家
A household name in Singapore, this restaurant has over 20 years of experience at serving abalone and a full spread of Chinese seafood dishes. You can select your exquisite seafood dishes at affordable rates! This place has the looks of classy oriental with nice decors. I had my birthday dinner celebrations with my husband at Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant.Sharks fin soup is thick and delectable. Satisfying.Braised abalone is superb ! The tenderness is unforgettable I've always love the service in Ah Yat Restaurant. The service staffs are very polite to the customers, and will also engage in small talks to interact with the customer, ensuring that we are well and the dishes are served promptly.
