Ichi Zen Japanese Restaurant 一膳 Johor

Neat, minimalistic yet inviting facade.

A roaring and warm greeting by an "army" of chefs and waiting staff as we stepped in. We were promptly shown to our table.

Internal decor extends the same neat and minimalistic style from the facade. The floor are tiled, not left in its original cement state.

I like the seating arrangement, well planned and spacious

Air-con was comfortably adequate on a hot afternoon and they just opened for lunch, the restaurant was well prepared and set up before opening hour.

Waiting staff were neatly dressed in uniform, trained and service was both attentive and prompt. Our Green Tea (Free flow and free) were refilled promptly and it tasted nice and flavored, unlike some other places that served them diluted to almost like plain water.

Clean tables, dining area and free from any funny smell.

Cutlery were clean and chopsticks sheathed. Every table has a good quality tissue paper dispenser. The sauce set was filled and container kept clean. We did not notice any house flies when we were there.

Sumo Salad Singapore

I only have tried chicken with Low GI so far and it tastes so good. Basically the content is vegetables, chicken meats and avocado! Good stuff! My sister is also a fan of Sumo and she told me that they make great custom salads as well. And they also have wraps which are either pre-made or customized.

So if you want something quick, healthy and filling - Sumo is a great option!

Ya Rong Yong Tau Fu Johor Permas

Our RM5 set come with a bowl of smooth and soft white bee hoon which was barely visible under the blanket of thick, delicious, slightly sweet, minced pork gravy.

The homemade pork balls were springy and almost like good fish balls in texture and bite.
