Old Chang Kee Singapore

Old Chang Kee is a household brand and in my opinion it has the best and most authentic curry puff with generous curry chicken and potato fillings. In the morning, nasi lemak is sold at this outlet which is a favourite amongst my classmates and I because of the affordable price. Occasionally, you will even get free soya bean milk when you purchase a promotional item during the specified time. Old Chang Kee is also known for coming up with new products every now and then and I recently tried their Chicken Mushroom OnStik which is not too oily and very juicy! Also, Old Chang Kee is halal. Good news for our muslim friends! The service staffs here are mostly very experienced aunties. They are cheerful and are very polite. I think it is a good idea to hire senior citizens since they have accumulated a good deal of customer service experience and are adept at handling the different situations. My experiences here have always been pleasant, possibly because the aunties recognise me.

Candy Empire Singapore

Located in Vivocity on Harbourfront Walk, Candy Empire specialises in imported confectioneries

There is a whole selection of sweet treats. Sweets sweets and more chocolate! Of which most are not commonly seen in the market. Most likely you will be too spoilt with choices, and just don't know what to get. No worries, you can pick and weigh! I'm sure, you will exit the Empire feeling sinned XP

Wee Nam Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice Restaurant 威南记海南鸡饭餐室 Marina Square Singapore

As a testament to its long legacy and reputation, Wee Nam Kee is constantly full house at lunchtime. Even with the scorching weather and lack of air conditioning at this no-frills eatery, people are practically swarming the place to get a plate of the ever-popular roasted and steamed chicken rice

Koi Cafe SIngapore

There’s so many different flavors available on the menu but I had the original Pearl milk tea on both occasions that I went to the Koi cafe outlet at Marine Parade. Are they worth the queue and price? The Pearl milk tea is almost a dollar more than the other bubble tea shops in Singapore. It’s good

Cup Walker Heartland Mall Kovan Singapore

Considered one of the hottest food craze in the past, bubble tea shops have now reduced down to a handful of survivors consisting of mostly chain stores (e.g. Sweet Talk, each-a-cup) and a few independent operators. Prices have dropped to $1 - $2 per cup. And remember the days when there were the standard Chocolate Milk Tea or Apple Ice Blended? Now there's a fusion of such a wide spectrum of flavors, menus run up to 5 pages. Think Custard Pudding Milk Tea, or Peppermint Oreo Blended, so forth.

But out of all the stores I've tried, the Cup Walker at Heartland Mall has me constantly going back and raving about it to my family and friends. I know commercial chain outlets may differ therefore I have no guarantee for the other outlets, but damn this outlet serves the best Red Milk Tea and Chocolate Milk Tea !

Grape Pearl Green Tea $2.30 for Large and $1.80 for Regular

Though it's more expensive as compared to other stores, the cup is pretty big, and packs hell a punch! It's just right in terms of thickness, sweetness, milkiness. The pearls are perfectly chewy and taste like they're covered by honey
