Chye Seng Huat Hardware

By now, if you still do not know about this hideout in Singapore, read on. If you know, good for you. Read on as well. The cafe, set up by Papa Palheta as their flagship store, looks like anything but a hipster coffee joint from the outside. Don’t be fooled by uninviting hardware stores beside it, or the huge gate bordering its front. Once you step in it’s a different story. It has been a while since the hype but I believe this place has the potential for consistency. CSHH’s location may not be an easy feat for people out there. Nevertheless, the cafe hardly spares an empty table or seat on weekends – it is easily considered to be one of the noisiest cafes in Singapore. From the cool vibes the place emits to the quality coffee and food served up to you, I guess there’s nothing (other than the crowd and location) to not like it here. If not for the never-stop-growing number of cafes, I’d definitely envision myself here always. Chye Seng Huat Hardware 150 Tyrwhitt Road

Ichiban Sushi @ ARC

This is the Ichiban Sushi restaurant at ARC (Alexandra Retail Centre), part of PSA Bldg. Better to get seats nearer to Alexandra Rd so the external view won't give you a claustrophobic feel. The sashimi and sushi were good. Restaurant not very big but currently, not many people patronising the restaurant outside working hours i.e. public holidays and weekends. Service level is good, quick response to requests.Ichiban Sushi is a popular chain of Japanese restaurants here in Singapore. There is another chain called Ichiban Boshi which is a sister company and mostly serves the same food. There are items that are quite pricey but in general the food is good valued specially the chicken katsudon. Almost all of the Ichiban restaurants that I have seen always have a line be it lunch or dinner (though the one at the ARC has lighter queues in general due to its location) Ichiban Sushi ARC Mall, Pasir Panjang cor Alexandra Road, 2nd Floor

Tealicious @ Johor Sutera Utama

The folks at Tealicious certainly do. It all started when one of the founders sat on his porch, sipping a refreshing cup of tea his wife made him. How good things tasted when they are made with love, he thought to himself. And how nice it would be if this could be extended to others. So he toyed with the idea of giving something beyond just tea - the love and the extra effort that goes into the making of each cup. And when this founder met two like-minded individuals with the same passion and dedication about the wonders of tea and the gift of life, he knew it was time should start. Not just Tea.. they do have other nice Yummy food! Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen at Punggol

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen serves affordable and delicious fried chicken and other side dishes such as Cajun fries, mashed potatoes with Cajun-style gravy, and Cajun rice.Wanna feast on finger lickin’ good fried chicken? Well, you probably can’t get it at KFC these days. But I’ll tell you where you can. Popeyes! No, not the spinach-eating cartoon character. Not exactly. I’m referring to Popeyes, the world’s second largest fast food chain specialising in chicken! But hey, if we’re talking about food quality, Popeyes trumps its biggest competitor any day. Not only are the chicken and fries tastier and crispier, they are less oily, too.For the chicken flavours, you have the choice of New Orleans Spicy or Louisiana Mild. I haven’t had the chance to savour the buttermilk biscuits and mashed potatoes (they ran out), but I hear they are amazing! Popeyes’ chicken is different from other fried chicken..the skin is light, crispy and simply a joy to eat. What’s more, it retains that amazing crispiness even long I am a big lover of their fried chicken too. Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen 10 Tebing Lane #01-05 Punggol, Singapore 828836
