MATTERHON bistro is known for their house specialities of Wagyu beef, juicy lamb racks and exotic escargots.

The Wagyu beef is marinated in truffle oil before being grilled to tender perfection.

The lamb racks are served with a creamy mint sauce after the succulent flesh had been grilled over fiery flames.

The meat from spring lambs is cooked after the meat, fat and membranes are removed from the individual rib bones, giving the rack a clean look that is fit for an elegant meal.

The escargots, which are edible land snails usually served as appetisers in French restaurants, are also specialties of the restaurant.

For those who prefer fish, there is the grilled cod which is served with rosemary and green sauce.

Patrons who like Italian cuisine can opt for Matterhon's specially-prepared foie gras, which is served with home-made mashed potatoes.

If you would like some soup while waiting for your meal, try the creamy mushroom soup or oxtail stew, which is the restaurant's best-seller.

The restaurant also has Cuban and Dominican cigars as well as some of the best selection of red and white wines.

The line includes Portugal red wine, Terra do Zambujeiro which is an Italian specialty, the Barone Ricasoli and the Katnook Estate Prodigy Shiraz from Australia.

For desserts, guests have a choice of various fruit pancakes which can be eaten after or in between the meal.
