Kum Iam Statue Macau

Close to the bar street at the Southern waterfront of Macau island, this statue is rising from a white lotus monument and is connected to the main island by a 20 meter foot bridge. I see the statue every morning from the middle bridge on the way from Taipa to Macau and have been at the actual statue several times. There is a buddhist (?) center underneath the statue and one can buy books and other souvenirs related to the statue and buddhism. One can walk around the statue and have a good look on the Taipa skyline.
