Singapore Sea Aquarium

Singapore's latest attraction isn't just the world's largest aquarium - it's also the location of the world's largest acrylic panel, although the latter admittedly isn't quite such an exciting record. The panel in question measures 36 metres by eight metres, is almost a metre thick and weighs a quarter of a tonne. The aquarium's tanks contain 42.8 million litres of water and 80,000 sea creatures, with more species - including hammerhead sharks and bottlenose dolphins
