SouthBridge Rooftop Bar Boat Quay Singapore

The view from Southbridge alone is reason enough to hit Boat Quay’s trendiest new rooftop bar – in one glance, you can tick off the Asian Civilisations Museum, Parliament House, Victoria Theatre, the Fullerton Hotel, Singapore Flyer and, most importantly, MBS. Completely open and decked out in black, Southbridge has an air of simple elegance that emphasises the killer skyline.

This buzzy new riverside bar is all about sinful decadence, with an innovative small plates menu that focuses on oysters and seafood. Don’t miss the oysters – they come in sets of six, and varieties include the Umami ($24), served cold and dressed in refreshing yuzu and ponzu, and my favourite, the UniFeller ($30), grilled with a layer of cheese
