Wimbly Lu Chocalate off Upper Serangoon Road

A nondescript corner off Upper Serangoon road, lies Wimbly Lu, nestled snugly amongst the row of cookie-cutter shophouses. Say hi to the neighbours Jule Cafe Bar and The Fat Cat Bistro as you arrive. Be prepared to make rounds round the estate in attempt to find a parking slot, so i guess going on foot is highly recommended. And just in case one have no sense of direction, the arresting red-and-white beetle at the doorway should help with the orientation. Stepping into Wimbly Lu was like stumbling upon a continental-meets-vintage cafe, whereby the lights, exposed brick walls and deliberately disharmonised furniture gave off a whimsical yet homely feel. If the moniker left you dumbfounded, don’t worry, it is just a wordplay of the names of the cafe’s 2 owners. And do expect to rub shoulders with the medley of residents from nearby estates in this dessert cafe Despite many hits, there were some misses as well. But we’ll just pass these little kinks off as teething troubles Wimbly Lu has not been able to shake off. Chocoholics be pleased because they specialise in chocolates, which are not only crowd-pleasing in terms of quality but also in terms of affordability. The whole theme Wimbly Lu had adopted truely piqued the interest of many, hence explaining the crowd even despite its ulu geographical location. What else could you whine about when they do not charge for service nor GST? Wimbly Lu Chocalate 15-2 Jalan Riang Singapore 358987
